NEELANGARAI: Office bearers of Sri Kapaleeswarar Nagar Welfare Association met Metro Water engineer S. Sukanya, to protest against the rampant exploitation of ground water in the area. She assured those present that it will be stopped, and also informed the group about upcoming plans of water supply through the sea water desalination plant.
The group had earlier submitted an RTI regarding ground water level in the area, and the engineer was requested to expedite the response.
