Due to maintenance work at the Nemmeli desalination plant, water supply is expected to be cut to areas along ECR on October 12 and 13. This is the second time in a month that maintenance is being undertaken, the earlier one being September 16. The areas expected to be affected are: Adyar, Velachery, Besant Nagar, Sholinganallur, Injambakkam, Neelankarai, Kottivakkam, Perungudi, Palavakkam, Thiruvanmiyur, Mandaveli and Mylapore.
